Great boots, very comfortable. - by , Aug 12, 2020

I have these boots at work. I walk a little more than 7 miles a day and go up around 50 flights of steel stairs. The area is covered in grease and oxidation. I also frequently trudge through ankle deep water. That being said these last over a year and are comfortable when I get rid of them. They are a little hot when I wear them, but handle extreme temperatures very well. I have stood on steel that is over 250F and they don't melt or transfer too much heat to the foot quickly. The cons are pretty short. The first is that the 12W isn't quite wide enough for my foot but the 13 is. I normally wear a 12.5, but these aren't available in a 12.5. This is probably a rarity, but it is annoying having an extra quarter to half inch on my foot. The next is the waterproofing. It works at first very well, but then they just soak up water. My feet still stay pretty dry though throughout the day. The issue is when your feet are sweating, because the water goes nowhere it is hard to dry them without a boot dryer and they quickly develop a strong odor even when your feet don't normally smell all that bad. Everything else is a positive, great traction and comfort. They aren't overly heavy, extremely durable. Just about everything else is great. I have tried several brands and styles, but these are the best for metatarsal and high heat in my opinion. I am now on my second pair over 3 years and have no regrets other than wishing they had a 12.5.

Been working in the steel industry for 5+ years. Never had comfortable, dry and warm feet until theses boots. When I first got them I regretted my purchase because there was an uncomfortable poking pain near the ankle. But boy once they are broken in, about 1 or 2 weeks of good use, they are incredibly comfortable! The best part is that even after 12 to 18 months of use they are still good as new! Highly highly recommend these boots for work!
